I reside in San Francisco. City of fog and light and rain and back again. Such a small island of souls walking restlessly with nothing under them but stirring water from the sea.
I find myself wandering at the wharf of tourists, down the long and rigid walks of streets that see out into the ocean. I walk and walk and still this city keeps me here.
It is upon finding the scent of VApothecary that I have arrived a new immortal to scent and with Jacek I helped create my perfume for the night.
This scent gives me more power, more meaning and I hold still to the concept that scent brings the animal and keeps what I once was at bay. I feel awake again into this night of awkward dreams and parting souls of the ones that travel here, drawn here for whatever it is that keeps this small island alive and dead at the same time.
This scent haunts me the way all that died in the great earthquake haunt me still. I see them, walking the streets into walls and through tourists, walking aimlessly the way I once walked.
