NA Perfume Description
Like Shomu/Shemu, the Harvest is a time in Egypt when the rye, barley, hyssop and wheat must be turned. Terenuthis, name taken from the Goddess Termuthis, is a once well-known necropolis now known for the harvesting of Egyptian crops. More so known for the Terenuthis Stelae.
The harvest city sits on the Western edge of the Delta nearest to Kom Abu Billo using Nile water to farm and summer sun to bring life and gifts from the Gods.
This scent is for the Harvest to come.
The Terenuthis stelae depicts that of Atilon (Graeco-Roman period) and his family, dating to the 3rd century AD.
Atilon lays on a couch with the Gods Anubis and Horus protecting him. The depiction is very odd to look upon knowing the history of Egyptian glyph and art. If you are ever in the Louvre please do have a look at it and witness the difference between old Kingdom, New Kindom and the Graeco-Roman period in the art. This is only one piece of art that came from the town and explains a lot of differences between different historical periods and the attributes that Egypt gave upon in the influence of Greek and Roman art.
Essential oils of Rye, Wheat, Hyssop, Barley, Lemongrass and steam dripped slowly into a pool of Nokturne:Crystal base.
This LE is only available in 5ml Amber NApothecary Bottle for the month of August or until supplies run out.
