This stone in which sand travels over time
Speak to me in poetry
so that light and dark are the same
Speak to me in whispers
so that the voice of reason is sweet
Speak to me in a roar
so that I can feel the thunder of your realm
Speak to me as Pharaoh
Speak to me as a God
Speak to me but remember how fragile
suddenly a heart can race,
how it can forget to Love,
how it can pulse no more,
how it may stop if there are no more words to hear.
And then I breathe the last breath of your light
and it smells of beautiful wonderful blissful words of remembrance and things yet undone.
