I have escaped you many times. Even during the darkest of night you have found me, haunting me, standing over me as I kneel to the cold wet earth below. Every time, you take me back home again.
Home. It is not my home anymore. Every pore of the paint on the skin of this home holds awful memory, anger, pain and tears.
If you leave me again, I will run away but this time you will not be able to take your hand to my face or my body.
I will run until my lungs can take no more. They will track my footprints in the snow to the bridge and I will have jumped into the vesper of sound as the water below takes my body into pieces.
You will come again, you will kneel on the very spot of the bridge that I knelt. You will cry in remorse. You will need to hold onto the railing of the bridge for support because it will be too much for you to stand.
