Smenkhare
NA Perfume Description
Pharaoh Smenkhare or Smenkh-Ka-Re, meaning 'Vigorous is the soul of Re' became regent as the 11th Pharaoh of the 18th Dynasty. It is conceived in so many ways by so many Historians/Egyptologists who exactly the Pharaoh Smenkhare was.
There is speculation that as the change in regent from Pharaoh Akhenaten to Pharaoh Smenkhare occurred it is possible that Queen Nefertiti took upon the guise of a Pharaoh with faux beard and became Pharaoh Smenkhare. There is speculation that he was indeed the Pharaoh Akhenaten's 'other' brother that was rightful heir. He may also have been Pharaoh Akhenaten's son but not by Nefertiti but by the Mother of Tut Ankh Amun, a minor wife - Kiya. There is always dark speculation when history cannot reveal itself entirely and just as Pharaoh Ankhenaten and Queen Nefertiti were defaced and their history destroyed as King Tut Ankh Amun came into regency it has become a deep dark and capacious subject filled with truth and false tales that no one can know the true answers to. Not very much exists in history of this Pharaoh and it may be possible that his guise was toward the Heretic King Ankhenaten and therefore damned even before he became Pharaoh of the land of Egypt.
There is another possibility - perhaps the Pharaoh Akhenaten gave up his chair to the 'beautiful one' and Nefertiti donned the dress of a Pharaoh the same as the Great Pharaoh Hatshepsut had?
In any case Nocturne Alchemy took the alchemy of powdering Amber Oil and alchemically engineered it to become the base of both male and female 'scent enticement', Egyptian Musk resin and exotic wood essential oils then brought back to oil form as done by the Ancients of Egypt to create a fragrant reduced exudation.
A scent inspired by both Queen and Pharaoh, whichever gender Pharaoh Smenkhare beheld.

And if we go away in wonder at what may have happened to this Pharaoh - we know of some of his words found in Thebes - not Amarna amazingly enough - from a stele dating from the third ruling year of Pharaoh Smenkhare:
"Come back to us, O lord of continuity. You were here before anything had come into being, and you will be here when they are gone. As you caused me to see the darkness that is yours to give, make light for me so that I can see you..."
