The Parlour. Walk into the room with the velvet wallpaper and the wooden floors and the dusty old furniture of lace and torn sheets. The crystal chandelier sits above the room with candles glowing down upon it. This audience chamber for the Immortal to host his or her next meal, or for a seance or possibly to keep the candles unlit and leave the window open and wait for the wind to bring forth the tellings of tales and ghosts and malcontent.
