Victorian and punk style of costume, bathed in a darkness across the world in many cultures, our subculture is a welcome unification between all Goth people because our kind belong to each other. Black eyeliner, crimson lipstick, hair of any color, black nail polish, white makeup, all things that unite our kind together without any language, without any sound but the music of our ethereal and darkwave to sway into. Music is our holy ground where sound flows beneath our clothes and our skin. Our sway comes deeper into the night that belongs to us. We share the night unconditionally with the respect of the immortals and ones that walk the night undead. We are not all the same. We are not different. We are the Gothic romantics that enjoy music, perfume and candlelit evenings telling stories, reading books, creating art and flowing to a room of musical sound built for our feasting as a Vampire feasts on blood, we feast on music.
In a dark mansion that sits high on the hill surrounded by leafless trees, we dance until the day of illusion comes. We sway into the clove scent of smoke and the breathless exhale of patchouli. If we are to be who we are, we must follow our own subculture within the daylight culture for our romantic world to remain ours. Our faith belongs to the Gothic of our kind.
