If there is a soul for everyone then I walk on waiting to find what it is I wait for.
Once a man to this world I claim nothing in the existence of this side of all things but to hold onto my thoughts and vulnerability because my hands are made of mist and shadows and mirrors and dust.
I choose to walk this world as an Eidolon to those around me. They walk and talk and speak nothing but the death of minutes and hours and I smile knowing the truth of all things.
If I could retrace a place in my life I would find my way back home to my childhood and I would find me as a child in my room playing with my toys. I would kneel down to him and I would hold him and tell him he is loved.
Through the screaming of voices from the living room I would put my hands to his ears and hold his face to mine so that he could see the tears are from love and hope to take the growing self hatred away from him.
If there is a someone out there for me I wish he or she had come to find me when I was of the living. Instead my apparition of existence beguiles me.
I continue walking on this earth hoping to find what it is I am looking for. The dust of my skin is touched with red lines on my wrists and I am reminded what I am looking for was what I once had.
I took my life from myself to shut the noise out, to stop the rape of my body, to quiet the sound of a belt stricken on my skin, so that I could know that there was something better and all that I have attained from this eidolon is the phantom of my own memory and its sadness.
I will walk on and I will hope for something to find me.
