NA Perfume Description
“Sitting at a cafe in Cairo, I ordered a tea to help bring my sense of urgency back to this life. Amidst the entourage of the bazaars and the calling from the religious song from atop the rooftops, I needed most urgently to sit and have my tea. I ordered from the menu the Egyptian Licorice Tea thinking most mildly that would suffice my urge away from diminutive thought. What world exists out there when I am sitting in here in my fine linen trying to keep the heat away from me and all the while out beyond this country the world continues to fuel itself with industry and egoiste. I sit back in the wooden chair as the hot tea comes to me in fine white porcelain yet it’s colour is unbeknownst to me. I sip at it expecting the rush of Anise I am waiting for. No. This is something better. I drink from it. I am amazed at the simplicity yet benevolent nature of remorse as the cup is emptied.
“Sir can I have another of your green Licorice Tea” I say.”
Egyptian White and black tea leaves, a cube of sugar, Anise and a primordial green dousing of Absinthe.
